Based on the 1945 novel by Darwin Teilhet, about a Korean War veteran who, upon returning home to Washington DC, discovers that his research firm has been overtaken by communists. The third and final film collaboration between Andrews and director Jacques Tourneur, following "Canyon Passage" (1946) and "Curse of the Demon" (1957).
