The Black Rider

The recto of the announcement is a press release regarding the release's history and its promotion, and the verso contains a black and white copy of the album cover and contact information.
Originally presented as avant-garde musical theater created by theatre director Robert Wilson, musician Tom Waits, and writer William S. Burroughs, "The Black Rider" premiered in March of 1990, and would become Waits' twelfth studio album, released in 1993. The album featured studio versions of songs originally created for the play, and featured three songs written by Waits and Burroughs, one written by Burroughs, and one song on which Burroughs "sings."
