A Losing Game

New York: Dodd, Mead, 1941. First American Edition, preceded by the First UK Edition published the same year by Hodder and Stoughton. An Inspector French mystery.

A couple corners bumped, light glue-darkening to the pastedowns, generally Very Good plus or better in a Very Good example of the scarce dust jacket. Jacket with loss to the rear hinge fold and heel, a faded spine panel, and a few small splashes to the edges of the rear panel (see image).
