A wild and violent ride, in the spirit of Paul Verhoeven's earlier release "Robocop" (1987), about a 21st-century construction worker who discovers that he is a secret agent with a memory chip implanted in his brain by the government. Nominated for two Academy Awards (Best Sound, Best Effects), and winner of the Academy's Special Achievement Award for visual effects.
