An orphan turned successful pop singer organizes a show-stopping dance and music event to raise money for his former orphanage, while balancing a love triangle with two beautiful women. Screenwriter Richard Macaulay is best known for "Riding on Air" (1937), "Ready, Willing and Able" (1937), "The Roaring Twenties" (1939), and "Born to Kill" (1947).
