A science fiction musical about a futuristic world led by "Markers," players of an obscure game involving rock-and-roll music and violence. The production was first staged at the Open Space in London in July of 1972, moving to the McCarter Theater in New York in November of the same year, and then moving off-Broadway, to the Performing Garage in Soho, where it was filmed by theatre collective The Performance Group.
