Originally released as the b-side to "Teardrops on Your Letter" by Hank Ballard and the Midnighters, Checker's 1960 cover became a national sensation after Checker performed it on "Dick Clark's American Bandstand," on August 9, 1960, and reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100 on September 19, 1960.

8 x 10 inches. Very Good plus, with light creasing to the extremities with a small cello-tape repair to a tiny closed tear on the verso of the left side.
