Culver City, CA: Tri-Star [TriStar] Pictures / American Zoetrope, 1993. First Revised Draft and Second Revised Draft for the 1994 film. Both scripts with printed drawings taken from Berni Wrightson's illustrated edition of Shelley's novel (published by Dodd, Mead in 1983) interspersed throughout. Second Revised Draft with annotations in manuscript ink on two leaves, denoting page numbers.

Widely considered one of the most faithful adaptations of Mary Shelley's classic 1818 novel, featuring director Kenneth Branagh as Victor Frankenstein and Robert De Niro as his creation.

First Revised Draft:

Red untitled wrappers. Title page present, dated January 18, 1993, noted as 1ST REVISED DRAFT, with credits for Shelley, and screenwriters Steph Lady and Frank Darabont. 136 leaves, with last page of text numbered 118. Second Revised Draft:

Title page present, dated February 8, 1993, noted as 2nd Revised Draft, with credits for Shelley and screenwriters Steph Lady and Frank Darabont. 124 leaves, with last page of text numbered 120. Xerographic duplication, rectos only. Pages about Fine, wrapper Near Fine, bound internally with two gold brads.
