"Blonde Bombshell" Jean Harlow was one of the defining actresses of pre-Code cinema and a leading sex symbol of the early 1930s. Harlow was only in the film industry for nine years before her untimely death of kidney failure in 1937 at the age of 26, while filming the romantic comedy "Saratoga" with Clark Gable. Her best remembered films include "Hell's Angels" (1930), "Red-Headed Woman" (1932), "Dinner at Eight" (1933), "Reckless" (1935), and "Suzy" (1936).
