Street Scenes 1970
New York: Eighth [8th] New York Film Festival, 1970. Two vintage photographs from the 1970 documentary, both with mimeo snipes from the 8th New York Film Festival on the versos.
Made by the New York Cinetracts Collective, the film is now most notable for Martin Scorsese serving as the film's production supervisor and the post-production director.
A documentary about two May 1970 protests, the violent Hard Hat Riot on Wall Street in New York, and the peaceful Kent State/Cambodia Incursion Protest in Washington DC. The end of the film features a discussion of the protests and world events by Scorsese, Harvey Keitel, Jay Cocks, and Verna Bloom. Of note, Oliver Stone served as one of the film's many camera operators.
Shot on location in New York and Washington DC.
8 x 10 inches. Very Good plus, one photograph with a touched-up bruise to the lower center left (see image).
