Houston, TX: Alley Theatre, 1992. Vintage photograph of director Robert Wilson and assistant director Ann Christin Rommen during a workshop for the premiere of the 1992 production of the 1794 play. Photograph with a mimeo snipe label and a photographer's label on the verso.
The play premiered at the Alley Theatre in Houston, Texas on October 30 and closed on November 14, 1992.
Wilson's staging of the canonical 1794 play was Wilson's first project as Artistic Associate of Houston's Alley Theatre, and was produced after an eight month creative process led by Wilson as the production's director and designer.
Set in during the French Revolution.
