Wilson's first work for the stage with spoken text. The theatrical piece premiered at the Festival dei Due Mondi in June 1974, and was subsequently performed later that year in La Rochelle and Paris. It also played a short season in March-April 1975 at the ANTA Theatre on Broadway. Nominated for a 1975 Tony Award for Best Original Score for composer Alan Lloyd.
