Hoping to afford to marry her longtime boyfriend, a woman begins working as a door-to-door cosmetics saleswoman, although she is woefully unsuited for the job. The second film effort involving Ball, director Lloyd Bacon, and screenwriter Frank Tashlin, following "Miss Grant Takes Richmond" (1949).
