INSCRIBED by both men: "'Sid' / To Florence Foster / to whom our act is greatly indebted" from Howard, and "That clean pair! / 'Lew' / for Florence Foster in gratitude for her invaluable services / from Bromfield and Howard / Hollywood!!!! 1930" from Bromfield.

Annotations in manuscript pencil on the verso, identifying both men.

Bromfield and Howard co-wrote the screenplay for the 1931 George Fitzmaurice film "One Heavenly Night."
