Farrar was one of the most successful American opera singers in the 1900s, attracting a large popular following due to her acting ability and intimate, emotive musical style. In between opera seasons, Farrar appeared in silent films, most notably in the Cecil B. De Mille films "Carmen" (1915) and "Joan the Woman" (1916).
7.5 x 9.5 inches. Very Good, with a tide mark to the bottom edge, and a small bruise to the bottom right corner.
