N.p. N.p., 1943. Two vintage working advertising proofs for the 1943 film, both with copied layout annotations on the rectos.

Based on Lillian Hellman's 1941 play. A German-born engineer and his family escape to the US after engaging in anti-Fascist activities in Europe. The screen rights for this World War II drama were attained by Jack L. Warner, who saw its potential as a propaganda film. After a difficult production, the film was released to positive reviews, with Paul Lukas receiving the Academy Award for Best Actor.

9.75 x 22.25 inches and 7.5 x 11.5 inches. Very Good plus, with three horizontal creases to the larger proof and two small pieces of cello tape to the top corners of the smaller proof.
