Nosferatu

N.p. N.p., Circa 1979. Seven vintage borderless reference photographs from the French release of the 1979 film, all seven showing Klaus Kinski in costume as the vampire. Provenance stamps and annotations in manuscript ink and pencil on the versos.

Based on F.W. Murnau's 1922 film. The third collaboration between Herzog and Kinski. Herzog lauded Murnau's classic horror tale as the greatest picture Germany every produced, and fittingly, many shots from Herzog's adaptation directly replicate shots from the 1922 film.

Shot on location in Mexico, the Czech Republic, the Netherlands, and Germany.

Six 9.5 x 7 inches, one 7 x 5 inches. Generally Near Fine to Fine.
