Based on the 1997 novel by Arthur Golden, a historical drama about a Japanese girl who is sold by her impoverished family to an okiya, where she trains to become a geisha. Nominated for six Academy Awards, winning three, including Best Cinematography.

Title page present, dated September 4, 2004, with credits for director Rob Marshall, novelist Arthur Golden, and screenwriters Robin Swicord, Doug Wright, Ron Bass, and Akiva Goldsman. 132 leaves, with last page of text numbered 131. Xerographic duplication, rectos only. Pages Very Good, title page present but detached from the binding, with foxing to the first and last leaves and moderate creasing to the fore-edges, bound with two gold brads.
