Based on Rebecca Morris' 1967 short story "The Good Humor Man," about a young woman who must put her life back together after her husband, a college professor, leaves her for one of his students. A feminist-minded drama in the vein of "Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore" and "An Unmarried Woman."
Shot on location in San Francisco.
Red titled wrappers. Title page present, dated August 27, 1971, noted as Second Draft, with credits for Morris and screenwriter David Seltzer. 133 leaves, with last page of text numbered 132.
