John Waters' fourth feature after his wildly successful 1972 film "Pink Flamingos," about a rebellious high-school student who embarks on a murder spree after her parents deny her request for cha-cha heels at Christmastime. Dedicated to Manson Family member Charles "Tex" Watson, who inspired the theme of the film: "crime is beauty."
