N.p. Partisan Productions, Circa 1987. Archive of material relating to the 1988 film, including two undated Draft scripts, four pages of autograph notes relating to the book's adaptation, two pages of autograph notes relating to locations and sets, a call sheet dated October 8, 1987.

Archive also includes three original costume design sketches for James Woods and Sean Young, created by costume designer Susan Becker, along with four production copies.

One script with annotations throughout, executed on post-it notes affixed to page versos, relating to the film's pacing and plot.

Neck and neck with Brian De Palma's "Scarface" (but much less celebrated) as the definitive movie on the 1980s cocaine lifestyle in America. Based on Ben Stein's 1982 book "'Ludes: A Ballad of the Drug and the Dream," about a young, ambitious hustler in Los Angeles whose drug addiction leads him to financial, physical, and emotional ruin. Screenplay by Darryl Ponicsan, best known for his novels "The Last Detail" and "Cinderella Liberty," both of which were adapted for the screen.
