Satan's Angel

New York: Macaulay, 1935. First Edition of the author's first book.

An almost impossibly beautiful copy of Steve Fisher's scarce first book, and easily the nicest copy of any book we have ever seen from the small but important publisher Macaulay. Fisher would go on to write a couple of adventure novels and another mystery before writing "I Wake Up Screaming," which would alter the course of his career from that of writer to screenwriter for the rest of his life. Probably the best copy of this book in existence.

Fine in an about Fine, price-clipped dust jacket.
