Phantom Lady

Philadelphia: J.B. Lippincott, 1942. First Edition, with no statement of additional printings on the copyright page as called for on. Haycraft Queen Cornerstone. A Woolrich high spot, basis for the 1944 film directed by Robert Siodmak and starring Ella Raines and Franchot Tone.

Spine lean, front hinge tender, a few tiny spots to the orange topstain and the endpapers. Owner name stamp and separate initials in red ink on the front pastedown. Jacket restored along the spine panel and at a few extremities. Overall Very Good in a dust jacket that presents as Near Fine.
